The Collaborative Conference (CC) is a series of seminars held to gather scientists, intellectuals and researchers of a same study field from across the world to communicate, share and exchange their knowledge or new findings on a given topic. So far, CC has successfully hosted 3 meetings. The first one was called Collaborative Conference on Crystal Growth (3CG), which took place on December, 2012 Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld, USA. This conference gave an insight into design, growth, and application of crystalline material and was a complete success. Featuring earthquake science and engineering, the second CC meeting took place on September 15th-18th 2015 in Chengdu and provided a platform for discussion on earthquake prediction, anti-seismic approaches, disaster mitigation, and so on. In the following 4 days, another meeting, known as Collaborative Conference on Language, Literature & Linguistics (CCLLL) was held in Beijing and brought scientists from various language disciplines together to discuss new and exciting advances related to the conference.

CC is not only a creative platform for great minds to communicate and share with each other, but also a great way of relaxation. Apart from gaining knowledge from the fellow scientists, attendees can also seize the chance to explore the city where the conference is held. Therefore, more and more scientists are becoming interested in this way of academic communication and we feel the need to host CC meetings more intensively on more various science topics.
